Town Charter Information
The Town Charter for Woodside defines basic information about the town government, such as, the rules and regulations for electing officials; the duties of each town officer and council member; the authorization for levying taxes; how the town monies can be used; and what the boundaries lines are for the town.
A new Town Charter was approved by the Delaware State Legislature on July 1, 2018. It was amended to add information about annexing properties; town election process; adding eligibility to collect realty transfer tax fees; and much more!
